Sacristans quietly serve behind the scenes by preparing the church, altar, sacred vessels, vestments, and liturgical items before Mass and ensuring everything is properly cared for afterward. This ministry is essential to the smooth celebration of the liturgy. Sacristans are invited to serve by the parish based on the needs of the ministry.
